About Our Curriculum
Standards Plus History Academy’s comprehensive history and government curriculum offers you the ability to learn at your own pace. The materials and resources have been created and curated by Barry Jones. For more than 25 years, Mr. Jones has been providing quality instruction and materials to his students in his history and government classrooms. A licensed, state-certified, Level 5 high school teacher, Mr. Jones’ undergrad degree is in Secondary Education: Political Science and Comprehensive Social Studies. His master’s degree is in Curriculum & Instruction: History.
Crafted meticulously over two-plus decades, each subject’s curriculum is loaded with materials and resources that include but are not limited to PowerPoint presentations, guided notes outlines, essays, worksheets, study guides and book reviews – all designed to make learning more accessible, enjoyable, and impactful!
